Instruction The rudder command signal from the steering stand operates the receiver for remote steering control system and controls mechanically the stroke of variable displacement type pump through link mechanism. The electric rudder command signal is compared with the feedback signal of actual rudder angle in the steering stand.
The rudder angle deviation signal from the steering stand is amplified by the amplifier and controls electrically the stroke of variable displacement type pump through torque motor.

arrangement
Simple and compact constitution are gained since external pipongs are minimized and oil tank and electric motor are installed on the hydraulic cylinder.

7 Easy installation Steering gear is constructed with all pipings completed in the factory, requiering only a simple installation work on the ship.
The pump unit can be placed is any convenient position in the steering gear compartment since there is no mechanical linkage and buffer spring for controlling the hydraulic pump.
8 Maintenance free Follow-up mechanisms as well as main parts of ram, hydraulic cylinder, etc. are especially of sturdy construction arid full consideration is given to safety. Each joint portion is provided with oil-impregnated metal to facilitate maintenance.
